Circle Cinema’s Walk of Fame honors Oklahomans that have made significant contributions to the entertainment industry. Actors, writers, directors, musicians, and more, these stars have all called the Sooner State home at one point in their lives.

Tony Randall
(1920-2004)
Tony Randall left Tulsa when he was 19 to study acting in New York. He enjoyed a long and fruitful career as a thespian, television actor, and personality in feature films, and his turn as Felix Unger in The Odd Couple is timeless.
Ben Reed
(b. 1965)
From Tulsa, OK, Ben Reed quarterbacked Bixby to a state championship game before taking up acting. He has enjoyed steady work since the 90s, with his most notable roles in Starcrossed, American Sniper, and The Greatest Showman.
Will Rogers
(1879-1935)
Born in Oolagah, Indian Territory, Cherokee Nation, Will Rogers was one of Oklahoma’s most beloved personalities. Cowboy, humorist, writer, and actor, his bust was chosen to represent our state in the rotunda of the US Capitol.
Leon Russell
(1942-2016)
Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Leon Russell was born in Tulsa and graduated from Will Rogers. He took up residence at the legendary Church Studio in Tulsa, and was the subject of Les Blank's documentary A Poem is a Naked Person.
Will Sampson
(1933-1987)
Will Sampson, a noted Creek actor from Okmulgee, OK played important supporting roles in One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest, Poltergeist, and The Outlaw Josey Wales. An advocate for Indigenous voices, he founded and served on the board of the American Indian Registry for the Performing Arts.
Gailard Sartain
(b. 1946)
Gailard Sartain is a Tulsa cult icon, known for creating and starring as Mazeppa Pompazoidi in the late-night show The Uncanny Film Festival and Camp Meeting. Outside Oklahoma, he is also an accomplished actor known for Hee Haw, The Buddy Holly Story, The Outsiders, and Fried Green Tomatoes.
Wes Studi
(b. 1947)
Wes Studi, a member of the Cherokee tribe, began acting at The American Indian Theatre Company in Tulsa. He is best known for his roles in such films as Dances with Wolves, The Last of the Mohicans, Avatar, and Hostiles.
Jeanne Tripplehorn
(b. 1963)
Many Tulsans remember Jeanne Tripplehorn’s voice, with her career beginning as a local DJ on KMOD. After graduating from Julliard, she has starred in numerous films and television series including Basic Instinct, The Firm, Big Love, Morning, and We Only Know So Much.
Amber Valetta
(b. 1974)
Amber Valletta grew up in Tulsa and attended Booker T. Washington, where she began modeling at the age of 15. As a model, she has appeared in ads for Louis Vitton and Versace, while also acting in several films.
Michael Wallis
(b. 1945)
Longtime Tulsa resident Michael Wallis is an award winning historian, whose book Route 66: The Mother Road is a must-read for any fan of the Main Street of America. As a voice actor, he has narrated several historical documentaries and played the role of Sheriff in Disney’s Cars.
Clark Wiens
(b. 1941)
A co-founder of the Circle Cinema Foundation, Clark Wiens is an accomplished businessman and philanthropist supporting many arts organizations in Oklahoma. He also produced and directed the documentary Bill’s Thud.
Alfre Woodard
(b. 1952)
Born in Tulsa, Alfre Woodard has had an impressive career as an actress. She was nominated for an Oscar for her role in Cross Creek, and has also won 4 Emmys, a Golden Globe, and a Screen Actor’s Guild award.
