RUN TIME

The Will Rogers Memorial Museum and Circle Cinema are teaming up again to present the annual Will Rogers Afternoon Frolic on Saturday, April 5. Tickets on sale now, just $7 adults, $5 kids.

The afternoon includes a double feature of Will Rogers films, lunch with Ike’s Chili and roping demonstrations. The chosen films are “State Fair” followed by the silent movie “Ropin’ Fool” accompanied by a live organ played by Bill Rowland. Before showtime, visitors can make their own rope and learn a rope trick while viewing original movie posters and behind-the-scenes images shot on set of the films. Lunch will be available for purchase from Ike’s Chili (not included in ticket price.)

This year’s program is in support of The Will Rogers Ranch Foundation, collecting funds to help after the devasting Palisades fires. The Ranch was sadly destroyed by the fires, and many of the staff and volunteers also lost their homes. Donations to The Will Rogers Ranch Foundation will directly help with rebuilding, rehousing, and providing supplies to those impacted by the fires. Visit WillRogersRanchFoundation.org to donate today and learn more.
