Noir Nights is one of Circle's most popular series, with Josh presenting his favorite vintage crime films. About the film: "The Breaking Point" was originally released in 1950, directed by Michael Curtiz and based on a story by Ernest Hemingway. An otherwise moral captain of a charter boat becomes financially strapped and is drawn into illegal activities in order to keep up payments on his boat.
